I read this for a biography report in 8th grade You had to pretend to be the person when you give your oral report All I remember about Anne of Brittany s life is that she had an awful lot of children and miscarraiges This was in the children s section of the library at the time, but that was before the YA books were moved upstairs, and I think due to the content obviously, she gets pregnant a lot it would be an older middle grade YA novel.

I finished this book over a long, drawn out weekend where I ended up sick I had never read much of Anne of Brittany before, but found this book at a library book sale and was sucked in, as I tend to be with any historical fiction from the 1400 and 1500s While it certainly wasn t always the most exciting in its presentation of the materials, there was a lot of information packed into this book without it reading dryly.




  4. l read this in middle school had to write a report this seems to be a common theme for people who have read this book l remember liking it, but it was over 12 years ago.


  5. This was one of my earliest forays into reading about royals I believe I picked this up at a second hand book sale and loved it It was gratifying visiting Brittany in person a few years later.
