After reading the blurb and an excerpt from this book, I had to read it The whole concept of how the horse comes about drew me in right from the beginning, and I really like Tovi, the main character I appreciate her relationship with her mother and grandmother, and enjoyed the ways the cast compliment each other throughout the story I also was very impressed with the introduction and development of the secondary characters I think there was some room for even character development, but the stor [...]

Original review here on my blogI received a copy of The Skyhorse for an honest review.Tovi is having some major problems since having to move in with her grandmother after she had an accident and fell Tovi s so called friends are blaming her for many things she didn t do like kiss one of her friends boyfriends, and tattling on them all playing the choking game On the way home one day Tovi finds a whole and then an egg The egg becomes a problem when it hatches and out pops a flying horse Not sure [...]

I might be a sucker for stories that involve animals Horses being one of the big ones, I ve always wanted a horse of my own so really enjoyed reading about the adorable Zephyr Look at that little cutie on the cover This was a pretty quick and easy read It s a bit younger than what I generally read, I think I would peg it as a younger YA MG, the 12 14 range But it was still quite enjoyable The Skyhorse follows poor too tall Tovi She s the new girl in town, the one who happens to be almost seven f [...]

At first glance at the book cover, I wanted to know about this book This is a wonderful story full of legends, mystery, and best of all a winged horse Tovi, the main character, was a well developed and likable teenage character dealing with normal teenage problems in a realistic way I enjoyed how the author brought the winged horse, a creature of fantasy and Tovi together to make it feel as if anything is possible I would recommend this book to anyone who loves horse stories, you won t be disap [...]
