Sucked my in like a kraken devouring a pirate ship, and entertained me from start to finish.Just a novelette, mind you, half way between a short story and a novella But enough to keep me going for a while slow reader, me.Had a great twist in the story, and lots of the usual funny banter Oscar is the perfect foil for Trev keeping him honest and all that.Occasionally predictable, but then I often find that in books, not much of a reduction for it.A very solid 4.5 stars Moving straight on to the ne [...]

This was a short, fun read A good little side story to compliment the bigger events in the novels and to continue developing the relationships between the characters This is mostly Trev and Oscar, a pair who give each other as good as they get, even as they re learning to work together I m not crazy about talking animals, but Oscar is certainly my type of talking cat Though I have to ask, how exactly does a cat smirk I think I m going to really enjoy the novel, novella, novel pattern here By the [...]

This is a light interlude of a novella it s an appetiser for the next book than a meal in it s own right, but it s entertaining and fun none the less But don t start with this book start at the beginning, Location, Location, Damnation And if you like that, this won t disappoint Of course, if you hate that, then you ll probably hate this too But I don t think you will.
